Aeromot Guri
Aeromot also makes a primary trainer out of the Ximango fuselage and inboard wing sections. This one was one of seven at a flying club outside Porto Allegre. The Brazilian Air Force has 26 Guris that they use as primary aerobatic trainers. This one was built with fixed gear, but I'm told that with an IO-360 and retracts it's a +/- 15 g, 180 knot fully aerobatic airplane. Although Type Certified in Brazil, the Guri has never been certified outside of Brazil. Unfortunately, I wasn't able to snivel a ride in one.
