Camping at Smith point Northern Territory Australia
This shot is of my son and I camping with the Dimona at Smith Point. We camped on the airfield about two hours flying from Darwin in Australia's Top End on the coast, but first had to chase grazing bantang off the strip. These are cattle from Java in Indonesia which roam wild in the area.
Shortly after we arrived a Cessna departed. Sadly, it was carrying counselors back to Darwin who had flown in to support the local National Park staff following the taking of a diver by a croc the day before.
Note the mosquito nets!
