We're now accepting applications for the 2016 Parowan Soaring Camp, June 14-26th. Jeff’s Applewood Smoker and the Parowan Café will once again be catering delicious meals in the hangar each evening for our convenience and at bargain prices. Ramp space at Parowan is limited. We can handle 40 gliders on the field, including up to 10 who need tows (either sustainer motors or pure sailplanes). Check out our new brochure (pages 1-4 of attached pdf) to help remember all the reasons you like the Parowan Camp and to encourage those of you that have not yet attended, to come join us. Just complete the camp application (page 5 of attached file) and follow the mail-in instructions. More information is available on the application. Or download the application from our www.motorglider.org website. See the Parowan Camp tab. If you’d like a hard-copy version of the brochure to post at your glider club, or local soaring operation bulletin board, email your name and your snail mail address to ASA Secretary Dave Kinsell at Kinsell@pobox.com We hope to see you in Parowan in June, for another year of great soaring and summer fun! And if you’ve never come before, this would be a great year for you to join us. People are friendly and welcoming, and there are plenty of experienced XC / Parowan pilots to advise you, including flatlanders turned mountain flyers who learned their mountain soaring skills here. Many of us have returned each year for many years. And after 10+ years of hosting the camp in beautiful Parowan, it’s a pretty smooth operation.
