Here's a question for the group - has anyone figured out how to make wing dollies suitable for carrying inside the aircraft? My wing dollies are a bit big for that, and heavy. Some airports have transient tiedowns on 45ft spacings, so it would be handy if one could fold the wings back and roll the aircraft back into a space that would otherwise be too narrow. This would require some sort of wing dolly arrangement - probably not one that would hold the wings up on the tail boom, but rather would allow them to rest on the ground. It would have to keep the wings from falling over, and it would have to be possible to prevent them from moving around in a wind (it might be too much to ask it to handle a gale...).
Any thoughts? Experience?
